These female thread (NPSM) to hose barb adapters are primary used as adapters to fit on the outlet of pumps. The female 3/4"-14 thread fits on the male threaded outlet of pumps from all major marine pump manufacturers. The adapter allows connection of 3/4" ID hose to the threaded outlet of the pump. The adapters can be used for other applications requiring conversion from 3/4"-14 NPSM to 3/4" barb.
